Publishing on Google Play and the App Store
App publishing covers everything between a finished app and a live listing on Google Play and the Apple App Store: developer accounts, signing, testing tracks, store listing, screenshots, privacy and data safety forms, content ratings and review. ASO (app store optimization) then improves the listing so more people install. Publishing is an add-on to our app projects (extra charge) and also available for apps built by others.
What you get
- Developer account guidance (personal or organization, D-U-N-S number)
- App signing and release builds (AAB and IPA)
- Closed testing, including Google's tester requirement for new personal accounts
- Store listing copy and keywords
- Screenshots and feature graphics
- Privacy policy, data safety and content rating forms
- Fixing review rejections and policy issues
- Updates and ASO after launch
Note: Publishing is charged separately from development. Store fees (Google Play one-time, Apple yearly) are paid by you, to Google and Apple.
What we often build
- First-time launches on both stores
- Apps rejected in review
- Moving apps between developer accounts

Questions
App publishing: common questions.
Should the app be published under my account or yours?
Yours. The developer account and listing should belong to you or your company. We work inside it as a team member.
How long does store review take?
Usually a few hours to a few days per release. New Google Play personal accounts must first run a closed test with testers for 14 days.
Can you publish an app someone else built?
Yes. We check the build, fix store policy issues and handle the listing and review.
Do I need a D-U-N-S number?
Only for an organization account. Apple and Google use it to verify your company. We guide you through getting one for free.
